About Me

I’m a 30 year-old web consultant obsessed with film, music, art & comedy. I live in Austin, TX with my son, Matty, and spend most of my free time at live music or comedy shows.

I was born & raised in Albuquerque, NM and have always been fascinated by the worlds of film and technology; as a child I studied special effects, with the intention of becoming the next Rick Baker or Phil Tippet. As I got older my interests expanded to screenwriting, directing, and acting—I even had a small role opposite Matt Damon in the film adaptation of Cormack McCarthy’s All The Pretty Horses.

In the late 1990s, as the first dot-com boom was in full swing, I started teaching myself HTML, JavaScript, and PHP. I attended the University of New Mexico—briefly—and supported myself for a while as an independent web designer/developer.

In 2003 I moved to Austin, TX for its incredible film, music and art scene, and worked for several large tech companies such as Apple and Dell.

In 2009 I co-founded RegStep Technologies with two partners and acquired the SaaS platform Registration Assistant.

I now run Sellout, Inc. and provide independent consulting for select clients in the web and mobile technology sphere.
