WTF is up with Firefox 3.5?
So I just installed Firefox 3.5 for Mac OS X (10.5.6) and got a really annoying bug within the first minute of usage. Note that the URL in the screenshot below points to my photosteam page on Flickr.
I click the link to the first image in my stream and… the URL stays the same. You can’t see it in this next screenshot, but the Back button is disabled as well.
Miraculously, creating a new tab and then switching back to the original tab fixes both issues. WHAAAT?
I’ve been a Firefox proponent for a long time, but this is just unusable. Google, hurry up with the Chrome, will ya?
UPDATE: It appears that a third-party extension (Favicon Picker 2) is the culprit. I disabled it and Firefox now works as expected.
